Vintage Memories started in the early 1990s out of my love for fine vintage jewelry. I would visit estate sales, flea markets and thrift shops to buy and sellaffordable collectible jewelry. However, after making several mistakes and selling jewelry worth hundreds of dollars for next to nothing, I purchased some vintage jewelry books. I began to learn about signed and unsigned vintage costume jewelry and antiques.
In 1998, I opened my first online store and sold some of the jewelry I didn’t want to keep in my collection. The online store became successful but my primary career, in the medical field, also became busy and I began to lose time to work on my webstore and eventually closed the store in 2004. Since my passion for art, antiques and jewelry has never faded, I have decided to reopen my store.
